Welcome to the next post in our series of Product Snapshots in the Australian healthtech sector.
Say hello to Instant Consult.
In one sentence, describe your product?
A leading telehealth provider in Australia offering affordable access to qualified GP’s 6am to midnight, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
What industry challenge is Instant Consult tackling?
Australia is a vast land, if you are living outside a major capital city, you are practically remote or rural. Affordable, quality healthcare should not be restricted to geographical location.
We aim to offer on-demand, instant access to qualified and experienced GP’s for all Australians, no matter if you are in Sydney CBD or Karratha in Western Australia.
What makes Instant Consult unique in the market?
Instant Consult is an instant on demand service, you WILL be connected with an Instant Consult GP in under 15 minutes, 6am to midnight, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
We have an iOS and Android Patient App and also utilise web browsers for desktops. We believe it is the most affordable way to see a GP outside of Medicare and only offer the highest qualified GPs with FRACGP and FACRRM.
What is the biggest risk to the company?
The biggest risk to our company is being at the beck and call of Medicare. We have purposely aligned ourselves in the private healthcare sector, to offer affordable health consultations to patients anywhere in Australia regardless if Medicare is willing to cover these costs for the patients or not.
What does success look like for Instant Consult?
Instant Consult is always striving for success in many areas. However, to be recognised as the leading GO-TO telehealth provider for anyone who does not have or cannot get into their local GP, and to provide affordable quality healthcare in rural and remote locations Australia wide, is something Instant Consult prides itself on.
Why should a customer use Instant Consult?
Affordability, accessibility and convenience. We tick every box. Anyone needing to use this service will be impressed with how easy Instant Consult is to use and how much time they save.
