In one sentence, describe your product?
Supporting over 11,000 businesses, MyHealth1st.com.au includes an easy to use online search and appointment booking service and a range of value-added apps and services that facilitate digital patient and customer engagement.
What industry problem / challenge are you tackling?
We simplify patient engagement by innovating products that enable patients to engage with healthcare services through digital channels. An example of our innovation is the launch of COVID19clinics.com.au. A single online directory and patient information health hub that makes it easy for consumers to find healthcare services and COVID-19 clinics during the pandemic.
What is unique about your product in your market?
We operate to a "patient first and practice centric" SaaS model, integrating with over 50 practice management software systems and supporting a broad range of healthcare services with over 11,000 businesses locations as at March 2020 including pharmacy, GP, Dental, Optometry, Veterinary, Specialists, Allied services, Hospitals Corporate and Government agencies.
What is the biggest risk to your company?
Data security. We operate to the highest standards when it comes to data security, but a significant data breach would represent a problem. This is THE problem for all tech in healthcare. It is all about TRUST.
What does success look like for the company?
There are 50 million appointments being booked every day in Australia and consumers still only see healthcare service in response to a worry or illness. Seeing the vast majority of these appointments being booked online and helping consumers pro-actively manage their health is our end game. This outcome means we have delivered to our purpose. It's our mission.
